Appointed by the General Assembly, the Virginia Telehealth Network (VTN) serves as a direct consultant to the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) to support the enhancement of and track implementation of the Virginia State Telehealth Plan.
In 2025, VTN formed an advisory group to develop formal recommendations enhancing the Plan, incorporating themes and information gathered from stakeholder listening sessions, an annual benchmarking telehealth usage in Virginia survey, and other opportunities provided for community input.
The 2026-2030 iteration of the Plan has been approved by Virginia’s State Board of Health. View the plan below or click here to download a copy.
