VTN plays a critical role in advancing telehealth within the Commonwealth. The organization works with a government relations firm to help create deeper relationships with state and local elected officials and state regulatory bodies. Currently, VTN is leading enhancement to Virginia’s State Telehealth Plan. Through social media, an e-newsletter and the VTN blog, VTN provides time-sensitive resources and announcements. For members, special news, events, open jobs, and information are emailed each quarter, directly to their inbox.
Probono Telehealth Legal Assistance
Joseph McMenamin, MD, JD of Christian & Barton, LLP, VTN’s legal counsel, is offering brief, pro bono consultation on a wide range of issues that impact the delivery of telehealth as a benefit to VTN members, except where a conflict of interest prohibits doing so. We are pleased to offer his input and thoughts on the intricacies of telemedicine law.
