Virginia Telehealth Network Part-time Executive Director

 

Position description: The Executive Director is responsible for overall growth, management and operation of the Virginia Telehealth Network (VTN) and protection of its financial assets while ensuring compliance with board directives and applicable grantor, federal and state requirements. Participates with the Board of Directors in developing a vision and strategic plan to guide the VTN. Develops an operational plan which incorporates goals and objectives that work towards the strategic direction of VTN. Works with the Board to secure adequate funding for the operation of VTN and prepares a comprehensive budget. Leads grant writing processes. Communicates with stakeholders to keep them informed of the work of VTN and to identify the impact of VTN activities. Establish good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with members, stakeholders, community groups, funders, elected officials, and other organizations to help achieve the goals of the VTN. Assists in the planning effort for the Mid-Atlantic Telehealth Resource Center/VTN summit to raise funds and create awareness.

 

Experience desired: Organizational leadership; grant writing; fundraising; telehealth, workforce and/or health policy experience, excellent communications skills

 

Work hours/salary: 32 hour/week (at present, we are unable to offer a benefits package). Salary commensurate with experience.
