SVCHS has seven clinics located in rural, mountainous, Southwest Virginia, including a clinic on the top of Whitetop Mountain, the second highest mountain in Virginia. The patients at all seven clinics can receive the services in 22 different specialties via a telemedicine connection with the University of Virginia Medical Center in Central Virginia (Charlottesville).
